Fun with the Francois Family - Maui Family Portraits by Maui Photographer Steven Hill

I met the Francois family at my favorite beach location, Makena Big Beach. It was a beautiful day for this beautiful family and I enjoyed spending time with them and capturing some memorable moments of their Maui vacation.  Their little guy was such a cutie and he had a great time playing on the beach with mom and dad. Romantic Maui - Maui Couples Portraits by Maui Photographer Steven Hill

Tomo and Yumi were visiting Maui from Texas and wanted some fun photos of them enjoying the island. They let me choose the beach, so I decided on my absolute favorite Maui beach for photography, Makena Big Beach.  The water is just so blue, the sand so white and the beach so big! It also has a huge variety of unique backdrops.  Mahalo to Tomo and Yumi for choosing me as their Maui Photographer!!

Maui Family Portraits Preview - Ventura Family

It was such a pleasure working with the Ventura Family, they were so nice to let me choose my favorite beach for Maui family portraits, Makena Big beach. It was the perfect day at Makena, amazing sunshine bringing out the beautiful light blue and aqua colors of the water.  The water is so iconic it looks Photoshopped, because it is hard to believe the color of the ocean can be so breathtakingly beautiful; it just looks like a fairy tail. The beautiful forestry backdrops at Makena also made for the perfect backdrop for the two beautiful daughters, which seemed to be the best of friends. It was such a pleasure to work with such a happy, fun, gorgeous family.

Brockwell Family - Maui Family Portraits Preview

The Brockwell family was vacationing from Colorado and decided to get their very first Maui portrait session while on island. They let me choose the location, Makena Big Beach, one of my favorite spots for morning portrait sessions. You just can't beat the clarity and beautiful aqua color of the water and the light shade of sand at Big Beach in the morning. 

Thank you Brockwell's for letting me capture your beautiful family while here in Maui. We can't wait to see you back here enjoying the fun and sun in Maui soon.

Getz Family at Makena Big Beach - Maui Family Portraits Preview by Maui Photographer Steve Hill

The Getz family were return clients for us, they had Karma take their photos last year when they were in Maui.  I was happy to be able to meet them and take their photos for them this year! It was a beautiful morning at Makena Big beach. The lighting there was perfect for portraits and there was almost no one on the beach besides us! Their little boy was so cute, but not a big fan of the sand and water so we focused on shots of him close by mom and dad. Their little girl was such a little model and loved posing for the camera, watch out Heidi Klum!  Mahalo to the Getz family for choosing me to take portraits of your beautiful family!!
